So where’s the leader of this joint?
Right here. I don’t believe we’ve met. Are you a new member of the Brotherhood?
…Huh. You don’t look that tough. Yeah, Chris Fellon’s my name.
*switching to para*
Erik raised his eyebrow at the new recruit, and all he could think was, Landon would like this kid. He had that hint of impudence and rebellion to him. Erik would be certain to let him know that that was not acceptable.
Even though he was used to dealing with this shit from people like Landon, the irritation from the boy’s idiotic words still got to him, a bit. The metal in the room around them began to vibrate, filling the room with the shrill metallic sound. As well as helping him channel his rage into something, this also tended to double as an intimidation technique.
“I’m Erik Lehnsherr,” he stated. “Or Magneto.”

ooc: So, I figured that since the RP is dead, I would launch my character anyway, even if he was unaccepted…
ooc: Hi Melissa! :D Can’t wait to RP with you!

OOC: So… to anyone who’s still here…
I know the RP is officially closed down, but I still have a couple of storylines I’d like to play out, both with Erik and Sarah. So… yep. Just thought I’d let everyone know that after NaNo, I will most certainly be more active again! :3
Just out of curiosity, how many people still check their RP account on a regular or semi-regular basis?

Nodding in agreement Athena offered him a light smile, to assure him she understood. There definitely is a difference between being stupid and having priorities. She didn’t think he was stupid at all. Stubborn, hot headed and probably aggressive when he chose to be yes. But that didn’t equate to him being stupid, just careless. “And when your Magneto, I’m sure there’s always pressing matters to deal with first before any physical ailments can be tended to.”Shrugging lightly as if she was only merely stating a fact, Athena got up and walked towards him. “Round two sounds good. Try not to hurt yourself this time Magneto!”she teased, heading towards his door opening it waiting for him to join her.
Walking towards the front door, Athena was more than glad they hadn’t run into anyone and hoped to keep it that way. Stepping outside, her lips turning upwards into a huge smile Athena breathed in the fresh air. Taking a deep breath, she felt much better now away from all that damn metal and his room. Turning to face him, she smiled at him excited to finally test out their abilities with each other. He was probably more excited than her, since he used his ability to fight naturally.
Athena started walking away from as another Athena popped up beside Erik, accompanying him. With every few step they took, another Athena emerged. There was now a total of 6 Athenas, 5 of them had appeared. They were all scattered away from each other, not huddled up. Athena wondered if Erik had been watching carefully enough to figure out which one was really her. They had moved around quick quickly and often.
“Oh, so now you decide to use my proper name,” Erik grumbled, rolling his eyes at her teasing. He stood up to follow her out the door, raising his hands as he did so, choosing a variety of metal to take with him out to the field. As he and Athena walked side by side down the halls of the Brotherhood, he made the metal orbit them slowly, both for amusement, and to warm up his control for the spar.
When they stepped outside, Erik noticed that Athena seemed to perk up, like a wilting flower that had just been watered. He had thought that she had only been uncomfortable because of all the metal in his room, but judging by the positively radiant smile she gave him, it seemed she was just not an indoors-y type of person. Somehow, the radiance of her smile was contagious, and Erik found the corners of his lips turning upwards, just a little, not into a smirk, but a genuine smile. Just a little.
A moment later, he was quite glad that his attention had been drawn to Athena, because she began using her power as they walked back to the training field. He kept one eye on the original Athena as best as he could, but he admitted his eyes may have lost track among all the identical clones moving around so quickly.
Finally they reached the training field, and Erik put a bit of space between them, thinking about all the techniques he knew for fighting multiple opponents. He scattered the metal orbiting himself around the area, not letting it scatter too far, but allowing for the larger size of their spar due to more participants. Lastly, since Athena seemed as enthusiastic about this as Erik felt, he waited, just for a moment, to see if she would take the initiative in this round.

OOC: Also, might I ask… is the sabotaging of New York still going on? Or has it already finished? Because Erik might be interested in joining…

Forgive me if I can’t see an efficient killing machine underneath the stumbling mess of a girl who was bested by a little parlor trick.
Are you kidding? I can the the life from an entire room without lifting a finger.
There’s a difference between being able to kill and being a killer.
I’m a a killer. No conscience to speak of. Borderline psychotic. Maybe not even borderline so much anymore.
If that was the truth, I wouldn’t be standing here now, according to you.

Suit yourself. I hope you’ve gained more control over your mutation since last time.
I have nearly perfect control over my mutation unless some asshole is trying to fuck with my brain. Which, as I recall, is exactly what happened last time.
*smirk* Well, I do like to keep my team prepared for all possible situations.
If that had happened in a hostile situation and you needed to keep control, you would be fucked. I wouldn’t call that “perfect”.
In a hostile situation, I wouldn’t care who I killed, now would I? In fact, I’m not sure why I cared so much that night. Should have let the toxins go. You would have deserved it.
I wouldn’t have provoked you if I had seriously believed I couldn’t have avoided the aftermath. Whatever you care to think, I’m not stupid.
If I hadn’t fought to hold them back, you would have been dead in seconds. You underestimate me, Erik.
Forgive me if I can’t see an efficient killing machine underneath the stumbling mess of a girl who was bested by a little parlor trick.
I think I’ll get drunk tonight. Sounds like a plan.

I’m think I’m at least smart enough not to take plotting advice or share my plans with you.
*raises an eyebrow* ok then.
…Problem?
Did you think I was being serious?
Were you?
Obviously not! Why would I tell you how to do something when I know nothing about it?
I just… hn. Never mind.
You’re quite good at sarcasm.
If you say so. I was just playing around geez. Maybe you should drink too.
Perhaps. Or maybe I just need to beat something up.
